By popular demand, the Foundation reprinted Her Way, Helen’s Inspiration to Life by Ingrid Zerafa.  The ongoing demand for this book, which sold out in two years, is testimony to the fact that Helen’s story continues to inspire, support and motivate people to this day. The launch of the second edition of this book was held at the Verdala Palace, Buskett and was complemented by the Venus Harp Trio under the direction of Dr Lydia Buttigieg. Soprano Rosabelle Pavia also delighted those present with her amazing vocals.

Her Way, Helen’s Inspiration to Life is being sold for €15. The funds generated from the book will support the Foundation’s ongoing work including provision of free brassieres to mastectomy patients, a folder to help patients organise their information and medical documents and free psychological service to breast cancer patients and significant others.

Abreast for Cancer saw breast cancer survivors, friends and family members who had walked from Sliema and Bormla to the Valletta Waterfront greet other breast cancer survivors who had rowed boats from Birgu to the Valletta Waterfront Laguna. The rowing symbolised our daily endeavour to navigate challenges and keep moving forward, adjusting to our new selves and new lifestyles.

The rowers were given a hero’s welcome by the walk participants and greeted with healthy snacks and lively tunes played by the Marsa Trinita Band. Mrs Michelle Muscat presented them with a token to mark the occasion.
